Wallet, Earnings, and the 7-Day Hold Period Explained

Understand how your Berrytap wallet tracks pending and available earnings, what the 7-day hold means, and how platform fees affect your balance.

Every time a member pays for access to your community, that revenue flows into your earnings — but not all of it is immediately withdrawable. Berrytap uses a short holding period to account for disputes and chargebacks before funds become available for payout. Your Earnings dashboard gives you a real-time view of exactly where your money stands.

The Berrytap wallet applies to Mongolian creators using the QPay/MNT payment model. If your community is registered outside Mongolia and you use Stripe Connect, Stripe pays you directly on its own schedule. You do not have a Berrytap wallet and this page does not apply to you.

Your wallet

Navigate to Dashboard > Earnings to view your wallet. The Earnings page shows a separate wallet for each of your communities, with a full breakdown of balance types and recent transactions.

Balance types

Your wallet tracks several figures so you always know where your earnings stand:

BalanceWhat it shows
PendingEarnings currently within the 7-day hold period. These have been received but are not yet withdrawable.
AvailableEarnings where the hold period has passed. This is the amount you can request as a payout right now.
Current balanceYour total wallet balance: pending + available combined.
Lifetime earnedTotal net earnings since you created the community — gross payments minus the platform fee, including any adjustments, but excluding payouts already made.
Lifetime paidThe total amount that has been paid out to your bank account to date.

The 7-day hold

All new earnings — from membership payments and any other community revenue — are held for 7 days before becoming available. This is standard practice across payment platforms and protects you and your members by allowing time to resolve disputes and chargebacks.

After 7 days, the held amount moves from Pending to Available automatically. No action is required from you. Once an amount is Available, you can include it in your next payout request.

Check your Dashboard > Earnings tab regularly to track when pending amounts mature. Timing your payout requests just after a batch of earnings clears the hold period means fewer, larger transfers to your bank account.

Community wallets are separate

Each community you create has its own independent wallet. Balances are never pooled or combined across your communities. If you run two communities, each has its own Pending balance, Available balance, and payout history. When you request a payout, you do so per community.

Platform fee

Berrytap deducts its platform fee at the time of each payment — before the amount enters your wallet. What you see in your Pending and Available balances is already net of the platform fee. You will never see a gross amount later reduced by a fee deduction.

The fee rate depends on your Berrytap plan:
